Convention
February 19-22, 2009
The FOMA 105th Annual
Convention will be held February 21-24, 2008 at the
Hyatt Regency Pier 66 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Included
in the program will be the Florida mandatory hours of 1-A
CME credits: Risk Management, Florida Laws and Rules,
Prevention of Medical Errors, and Uses and Abuses of
Controlled Substances. Also being offered will
be 1 hr of HIV/AIDS and Domestic Violence. The Convention
will offer approximately 34 hours of 1-A CME credits.

Hotel Information
The Hyatt Regency Pier 66 is set on 22 tropical
acres, and its amenities include six unique restaurants
and lounges, an aquatic center, a three-pool oasis,

offer a variety of menus and atmospheres, from casual
bar settings to elegant dining.

Single & Double Occupancy - $TBA
You will need to make your
room reservations early in order to protect the FOMA's
ability to block a sufficient number of room and adequate
meeting space. The cutoff date for hotel reservations
is January 19, 2009.

Advance Registration
If you pre-register for the Convention, your complete
packet, including name tags, tickets, programs, etc.
will be at the FOMA registration desk when you check
in. FOMA members receive a $25 discount if you
register by January 19, 2009.
Cancellations
The FOMA must be notified of any cancellation in
writing by February 10th, in order to provide
a refund. Cancellations received on or before this
date will be charged a $50 administrative fee.
Cancellations received after February 10th
will not be refunded.
