RULE TITLE: Immunization Requirements: Public and Nonpublic Schools, Grades Preschool, Kindergarten Through 12, and Adult Education Classes
We encourage our members to submit public comments as individual physicians on the benefits of these vaccinations. We also encourage members to ask family members and patients to comment as members of the public on the benefits of these vaccinations.

Dr. Towry received his undergraduate degree at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO, and then attended the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 1985. He completed a rotating internship at Metropolitan General Hospital in Pinellas Park, Florida. Following several years as a general practitioner he entered a Family Medicine residency with the Colorado Springs Osteopathic Foundation and became board certified by the American Osteopathic College of Family Physicians. Dr. Towry practiced as a Family Practice physician for several more years. He was then accepted into the Dermatology residency program at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO. After completion in 2001, he was certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology and became a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology.
Dr. Towry has been practicing general dermatology since 2001, returning to Ocala in 2009. He is currently the 2nd Vice-President of FOMA, District 12. Dr. Towry is a Trustee and serves as a Florida delegate to the AOA House of Delegates.
