Professional Bio
Dr. Mark DeSantis, D.O., M.S. specializes in radiology, nuclear medicine, and forensic radiology. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at SUNY Stony Brook and the Veterans Hospital in Northport, New York and serves as a forensic radiology consultant for the several medical examiners. He is a Fellow in Radiology and has held leadership roles within the American Board of Physician specialties and the American Osteopathic Association. He is also on several committees for FOMA. He was recently awarded Physician of the year, as well as Dr. Thomas Ebner and E.O. Martin Award by the American Association of Physician Specialists. Mark has done research with the inventors of the MRI scanner to treat cancers with nanocarbon technology. Concerns about medical waste is his on-going passion.
Dr. DeSantis has always been interested in occupational medicine and is looking into the CAQ in Occ Med.
