Dr. Mark Shank, DO is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over a decade of clinical and academic experience. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan.
Dr. Shank has served as a core faculty member in emergency medicine residency training programs and has a strong background in clinical education, mentorship, and curriculum development. He currently practices full-time emergency medicine and serves as the infield track physician for NASCAR, demonstrating a unique combination of clinical excellence and event medicine expertise.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Shank is actively involved in professional advocacy and osteopathic medical organizations. His passion for advancing the field of emergency medicine and supporting the osteopathic profession is reflected in his commitment to service, education, and leadership.
