Medical School Dean's Day at the Capitol
The Council of Florida Medical School Deans recently invited FOMA President Brett Scotch, DO, FAOCO, to join them for Dean's Day at the Capitol. The Council of Florida Medical School Deans was formed in 2001 to provide a forum to discuss the future of Florida’s medical education. The council meets annually in Tallahassee during Florida’s legislative session to share with legislators the successes of Florida’s medical schools, residency programs, and teaching hospitals. FOMA sponsored a pre-event dinner for the deans and Dr. Scotch addressed the attendees during the two-day event.
