William G. Anderson, DO 

December 12, 1927 - August 16, 2026

The FOMA mourns the passing of William Anderson, DO, who died on August 16, 2026, at the age of 98. A past president of the American Osteopathic Association, Dr. Anderson was also a prominent leader in the Civil Rights Movement. His dedication to osteopathic medicine, advocacy, and equality leaves a lasting legacy in the profession and beyond.
