Florida HIE Transition

The Florida HIE (Health Information Exchange) is now less than 50 days away for go-live on July 1. Until that time, the current instance of the Florida HIE continues to be available to all its participants.
All mandatory participants of the Florida HIE should now have completed their contracting requirements and be at the validation and testing phase of their integration! If you belong to one of the groups below and are not yet at this step, please reach out to the HIE office as soon as possible to prevent any gaps in data transition.
Mandatory Data Contributors:
- Hospitals with certified EHRs - Acute care, rehabilitation, psychiatric hospitals, including LTAC providers (408.0512(5), Florida Statutes)
- Skilled Nursing Facilities with certified EHRs (408.0512(6), Florida Statutes)
- Designated Baker Act receiving facilities / behavioral health receiving facilities (65E‑5.350, Florida Administrative Code)
To support you during this transition, FL HIE continues to offer weekly Office Hours as an open forum for questions, discussion, and support.
- When: Wednesdays 12:00 PM (ET)
- Registration: Not required
Please join them if you have any questions about enrollment, current integration efforts, or would like to discuss anything with their teams. Join the meeting: https://teams.microsoft.com/meet/2383824458182?p=sajffxCamPakylFKnZ
Training videos and demos are now available on their website. Please take a moment and visit www.flhie.org/resources to download and share those.
