International Healthcare Symposium 2026
Duval County 2026 International Healthcare Symposium in Jacksonville
The International Healthcare Symposium 2026 took place October 21-22, at the University of North Florida’s Adam W. Herbert University Center, bringing together healthcare professionals and leaders from across the field.
Michelle Mendez, DO, FOMA Second Vice President, attended the symposium alongside fellow healthcare leaders, including Florida Medical Association President Alma Littles, MD.
Presented by the University of North Florida and the Duval County Medical Society Foundation, in partnership with UNF’s Brooks College of Health, this year’s multidisciplinary conference focuses on the real-world applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital health in advancing healthcare.
As technology continues to shape the future of medicine, conversations surrounding AI and digital health are increasingly important to healthcare professionals across disciplines. Events like the International Healthcare Symposium provide opportunities for leaders to exchange ideas, explore emerging innovations, and discuss how these advancements can be applied in clinical settings to support patient care and improve healthcare delivery.
FOMA is proud to see its leadership represented among healthcare professionals working to advance medical knowledge, encourage collaboration, and explore innovative approaches to the evolving healthcare landscape. Continued engagement in these discussions helps strengthen connections across the medical community and supports efforts to prepare physicians for the opportunities and challenges ahead.
