Immediate Action Required: Integration Readiness Deadline – April 10, 2026

Florida HIE Participation Agreements & Integration Deadlines – Action Required

Florida HIE is entering a major new phase with its transition to CRISP Shared Services (CSS). This shift will deliver stronger clinical data, enhanced interoperability, and a more secure, reliable statewide exchange infrastructure.

To ensure a seamless cut‑over with no data gaps, all organizations must complete two critical requirements:

1. Participation Agreements (PA) – Final Deadline Passed (March 2, 2026)

Organizations should have fully executed their updated Participation Agreement, Notice of Privacy Practices acknowledgment, and Substance Abuse Disorder attestation no later than March 2, 2026.

We cannot advance your organization through onboarding or technical setup until all documentation is complete. If you are a mandatory data contributor (see list below in item 2) please reach out immediately to info@flhie.org.

2. Integrations & Data Pathways – Upcoming Critical Deadline (April 10, 2026)

All integrations, interfaces, and data pathways must be fully built and ready for validation and testing by April 10, 2026. This is now the primary deadline that determines whether your organization will experience data gaps at cut‑over.

Required contributors include:

  • Hospitals (acute, rehabilitation, psychiatric) with certified EHRs (408.0512(5), F.S.)
  • Skilled Nursing Facilities with certified EHRs (408.0512(6), F.S.)
  • Designated behavioral health receiving facilities (65E-5.350, F.A.C.)

What’s at Risk if April 10 Readiness Deadline is Missed

Failure to finalize your agreements and ensure integration readiness may result in:

  • Loss of access during the CSS transition
  • Gaps in clinical data exchange at cut-over
  • Non-compliance with state participation, including LIP funding for hospitals, and reporting requirements
