Florida HIE Transition Update: Agreements Required Ahead of July 2026 Launch

Healthcare, Industry,

The Florida Health Information Exchange (Florida HIE), in partnership with CRISP Shared Services (CSS), is moving toward its official system launch in July 2026. This modernization effort will deliver scalable infrastructure, enhanced interoperability, and innovative tools for care coordination and public health reporting.

To participate in the new system, all organizations must sign their participation agreements with CSS. This is a critical step to ensure readiness for concurrent data testing beginning in spring 2026, which will validate data flows and system performance before the full go-live.
CSS brings proven capabilities, including real-time HL7 messaging, advanced consent management, and integration with national networks like TEFCA and eHealth Exchange.

The Florida HIE website (flhie.org) provides onboarding resources, FAQs, and weekly office hours to support organizations through this transition.
